Newly Pregnant?

Sometimes things don’t go as planned; therefore we have a Sweet Success program for moms who develop diabetes during pregnancy. Our Perinatal Center monitors and helps take care of babies before they are even born, and our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit steps in to care for babies who are born too early or have difficulties after birth.

Having a baby is one of life’s most memorable experiences, and I can’t wait for my niece to become a mom! If you are having a baby at PVHMC you will receive excellent medical care as well as compassionate and helpful nurses in a warm and caring environment. We help approximately 7,000 babies come into this world every year! With so many things to worry about today (finances, etc.) you can feel confident that PVHMC will provide a meaningful, fulfilling family experience on the big “birth” day.

OMG! That lactation nurse in the photo is the sweetest, most carimg, most helpful lady ever! My baby was born at 27 weeks gestation, in the car, in the ambulance bay of the hospital. I was soooooooo scared and was out of my mind. She walked in the room, rolled in the best breast pump for preemies, told me I would be the first to use this type of pump, and was sooo supportive. She made me feel comfortable abd was full of helpful knowledge. Thank you so very much!
I cnaont tell a lie, that really helped.
