In Touch with You Blog
I just got back from this event and have to share with you that all the food (heart healthy) was great and Dr. Haritha Alla, Cardiologist shared her wisdom. All the attendees were supporting the Stead Heart & Vascular Center by their participation and donations. Jan Paulson, PVHMC Foundation Chairman welcomed everyone and stated; “I see a powerful sea of red out there.” Everyone wore red (dress, blouse, entire outfits) – what a statement it made!
Debbie Keasler, RN, Director of Cardiac Services honored six survivors who have been successfully treated at PVHMC’s Stead Heart & Vascular Center. They were presented with a red dress pin by the Case Manager that worked with them while in the Hospital.

She acknowledged that everyone is super busy and never has enough time, but stated “don’t you deserve 20 minutes a day for yourself by getting some exercise?”
SO, I think I will go home tonight and go for a walk. This weekend is supposed have beautiful weather – I know it is Super Bowl weekend, so try to get in some exercise before the big game.

What a great evening. Meeting and reconnecting with so many women of "like mind" was great. Good job. Lynn

Love this event. Very heartwarming to see so many women dressed in red and taking time to learn everything they can to live a heart healthy lifestlye. I promised myself I would become more active this year and last night I attended my first bootcamp...today I am hurting, but keep reminding myself that it will make me feel better in the long run. All of us should take time for US...we only have one life and one body - so get active.

After reading about the Anderson road trip and the care that they received from your staff is uplifting, as my wife needed care on one of our vacations.
I would hope that all medical centers would be like yours.
Keep up the good work.
