Our Dedicated GYN Cancer Program Team:

The following four physicians and three Physician Assistants are all members of Gynecologic Oncology Associates (GOA)

Lisa N. Abaid, MD, FACOG, MPH

Lisa N. Abaid, MD, FACOG, MPH completed her undergraduate study at Auburn University. She attended Medical School at the University of Miami. Dr Abaid performed her Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her Fellowship sub-specialization in Gynecologic Oncology was also completed at the University of North Carolina.

 

John V. Brown, MD, FACOG, FACS

John (Jeb) V. Brown, MD, FACOG FACS attended Medical School at the University of Kansas. He completed an Internship and Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Washington. His fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology was obtained at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at both the University of California, Los Angeles, and at the University of Southern California. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics.

 

 

Alberto A. Meendivil, MD

Alberto A. Mendivil, MD completed his undergraduate study in Animal Physiology and Neurosciences at the University of California, San Diego before receiving his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Mendivil’s internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was at the University of California, Irvine. His Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology was completed at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

 

Mark A. Rettenmaier, MD, FACOG, FACS

Mark A. Rettenmaier MD, FACOG, FACS attended Medical School at the University of Iowa. He completed an Internship and Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of California, Davis. His Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology was performed at the University of California, Irvine. He is currently a Clinical Asssociate Professor of Obstetrics at the University of California, Los Angeles and formerly an Assistant Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of California, Irvine and the University of Nevada. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

 

Erin Tinnerman-Minalio, PAC

Erin completed her Physician Assistant and Respiratory Care training at the Kettering College of Medical Arts. She has extensive experience as a Cardio-Respiratory PA in both Dallas, TX and at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach.

 

Amber Chapman, PAC

Amber graduated from California Lutheran College in Thousand Oaks, CA. She received her Masters in Physician Assistant Practice at the University of Southern California. She then completed a PA Residency in OB/GYN at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA.

 

Michelle Stone, PAC

Michelle graduated from California State University in Long Beach, CA. She received her Masters in Physician Assistant Practice from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She has prior experience as both a Family Practice and Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant.
