Psychosocial Oncology Counseling Services
Counseling services are available for patients and their family members to provide the additional emotional support that some people may need in order to adjust to a cancer diagnosis. Individual and family therapy focuses on dealing with the emotions, behaviors, communications and decisions arising from cancer diagnosis and treatment. Counseling also helps patients and family to deal with end-of-life issues that need to be resolved. These services are designed to augment and improve coping for the entire family. Although counseling is available to anyone in the community, regardless of where they have treatment, there is a fee. Some insurances provide for this service, or an affordable fee will be negotiated individually. You can contact us at (909) 865-9692.
