PEDIATRIC UNIT

Our Pediatric Unit at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) offers a caring environment that encourages the participation of parents in the health care of their children. During our special pre-admitting program, child and family are introduced to the case manager who will provide information, lend support and coordinate the child's care throughout the course of treatment.

Medical social workers and discharge planners are available to coordinate follow-up care, offer community resource referrals and provide emotional support for the family. By combining the most technologically advanced facilities with compassionate, comprehensive support services, PVHMC ensures that both the child and family receive the best care possible.

The Pediatric Unit provides diagnostic and treatment services for a variety of medical conditions, including:

• Gastrointestinal disorders
• Infectious diseases
• Orthopedic disorders and injuries
• Respiratory diseases
• Sleep disorders
