COMMUNITY NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Our community and outpatient nutrition services are designed with your personal needs in mind. Our Registered Dietitians have completed specialized training and an internship from an accredited university approved by the American Dietetic Association. The Registered Dietitian provides Medical Nutrition Therapy, which can help in the treatment and control of the following health conditions:

  • Weight Management (for Adults and Adolescents)
  • Diabetes - Adult and Adolescent (Gestational - See Women’s Center)
  • Gastrointestinal Disease
  • Heart Disease - (Cardiac - See Stead Health and Fitness Center)
  • Cancer - See Cancer Care Center
  • Pediatric Nutrition - Failure to Thrive, Underweight, Overweight, Feeding problems, and Obesity
  • Renal and Liver Disease, Pancreatitis, Aids / Hiv
  • Women’s Nutrition - Pregnancy, Osteoporosis
  • Better Nutrition for Health - All Age Groups

Your Health Insurance Provider may cover these services. After obtaining a written prescription or referral from your physician and pre-authorization from your health insurance provider, call Food and Nutrition Services (909) 865-9550 ext. 1153 for an appointment.
