Keeping Up With PT & Rehab

It was a long wait outside on a cold night ... but it was worth it. On May 10, 2010, 129 San Dimas High School athletes and their very patient parents participated in the 3rd annual SMC "$$$ for Physicals" Fund Raiser earning $2580.00 for SDHS Athletics.

Each year the PVHMC Sports Medicine Center doctors, physical therapists, athletic trainers and staff join SDHS team physician, Dr. Ryan Agena as they donate an evening of their time to provide the school with comprehensive, quality CIF required "Pre-Participation Examinations". Athletes are poked, prodded, peered at, measured and listened to as they make their way through a maze of height, weight, blood pressure, vision, cardio, ortho, head, and hernia check stations. Exiting victorious at the checkout station, those who passed all the exams received a signed clearance to participate in sports for the 2010-11 school year. The school was later presented with a check for the proceeds.
