The Sleep Disorders Center’s Medical staff are all AASM (American Academy of Sleep Medicine) Board certified physicians with varied back grounds including internal medicine, pulmonary and pediatrics, we also collaborate with psychologists, and AASDM dentists. These experienced specialists work closely with the patient and his or her family to design and implement the most comprehensive and effective course of care possible.
Dr. Nicholson is recognized as an authority on sleep disorders and often speaks on the subject to a variety of radio, television and forum audiences. Dr. Nicholson received a B.A. at the City University of New York-Brooklyn College before earning his M.D. at

Dr. Sadana sees patients with a spectrum of pulmonary diseases and conditions. He treats Asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease and Interstitial Lung diseases. He also has a hospital-based Critical Care practice where he takes care of patients in the intensive care unit.
Dr. Sadana is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a Member of The Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Sadana is currently the Medical Director of Critical Care Services at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, CA and serves on the faculty at The UCLA School of Nursing, Adjunct Faculty at The UCLA School of Medicine and Assistant Clinical Professor at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.

Heather L. Davis-Kingston, MD is a Pulmonary / Critical Care specialist working with Chaparral Medical Group since 2004.
Dr. Davis-Kingston calls herself a small town girl, originally from a small northern California town in the central valley. She grew up there and then moved to Southern California to attend college at USC where she was a Dean's scholar. She received her BS in Biological Sciences in 1993.
She earned her medical degree at the USC Keck School of Medicine, where she also completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She was on the Dean's List from 1994-1998 and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Davis-Kingston is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care. Her private practice focuses on Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and hospital-based critical care. Dr. Davis regularly sees patients with sleep disorders such as Insomnia, narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnea; and pulmonary diseases including pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She is also current chair of internal medicine department and chair of the physician care connect team at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. She is a very active leader among her physician peers and strives to improve patient care and experiences at the hospital.
Dr. Davis is married. She enjoys to travel and spending time with her husband and sister.

Dr. Daniel Skenderian is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in private practice since 1984. He is on staff at both Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and Casa Colina Hospital for Rehabilitative Medicine. An adjunct clinical faculty member at the University of La Verne Psychology Department, he is also visiting professor at the Universidad de Iberoamerica health sciences program in San Jose, Costa Rica. A frequent speaker on mind/body topics, Dr. Skenderian is also an Approved Consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Skenderian’s national and international presentations have focused on sleep disorders, specifically insomnia and parasomnias, pain, and clinical hypnosis. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and is recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. Finally, Dr. Skenderian served on the California State Dental Board for several years as a consultant to the diversion program.

Originally from Sudan, Dr. Eltahir attended medical school at University of Khartoum Medical School. After a few years in Sudan, Dr. Eltahir moved to Saudi Arabia where he served as a Registrar for the Department of Internal Medicine at Howtat Sudair Hospital in Riyadh. He then moved to the United Kingdom where he was Honorary Senior House Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine at North Manchester General Hospital. In 1993, he served as a Representative Physician for the Embassy of Saudi Arabia at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Eltahir completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at USC in Los Angeles.
He is board certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He is also a fellow of the College of Chest Physicians. His memberships include American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Eltahir's special interests are in Interstitial Lung Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma and Sleep Disorders.

Dr. Sinha has published many scholarly articles in field of pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. The topics range from pulmonary physiology (six-minute walk test) and pulmonary pharmacology (inhaler techniques) to epidemiology of asthma. His pulmonary publications include clinical manifestations and management of chronic bacterial pneumonia, sarcoidosis, congenital pulmonary abnormalities and pulmonary aspergillosis. He has written on critical care topics of echocardiography and modes of patient monitoring in the critical care setting, mechanical ventilation and use of total parenteral nutrition. He is also one of the authors of 5-minute critical care consults.
Dr. Sinha underwent rigorous training at a surgical critical care program and is very well versed with management of critical neurosurgical and transplant patients. He is well trained to manage total parenteral nutrition in critical patients. His interests include non-tubercular mycobacteria (MAC), sleep disorders, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Dr. Sinha is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. He completed his fellowships at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York for Critical Care (2008-2009) where he received the "The Fellow of the Year Award" Dr. Sinha also completed his residency in Pulmonary Diseases at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York (2006-2008). Dr. Sinha did residency for Internal Medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York (2004-2006) and obtained his M.B.B.S. from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, Indian and his Medical Degree from Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, India.
