Bonding With Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding your baby can be a rewarding experience. Studies show that breastfeeding has significant nurturing and nutritional benefits for your baby. In addition, breastfeeding provides health benefits that are extremely beneficial to your baby’s growth and development.
Nursing your baby is a learned skill for both mother and infant requiring time and patience. While many women are able to successfully breastfeed soon after delivery, some women need assistance to breastfeed their baby.
Pomona Hospital Medical Center has lactation support services to help a new mother with skills to help her to breastfeed successfully.
