The Women's and Children's Center at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) was founded 28 years ago to address the vital healthcare needs of both women and children in Pomona Valley. Our program was designed to provide cutting-edge treatment and diagnostics while providing a warm, family-centered care setting. As a result, we have won widespread recognition and awards, including three Healthgrades® Women’s Care Five Star Excellence Awards™ for exemplary work providing women with labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery and obstetrics and gynecology care.
Our program addresses every vital medical need a woman has, including obstetrics, prenatal and neonatal support, breast cancer prevention and treatment, heart and vascular care, physical therapy, and more. Each service demonstrates why PVHMC has been recognized as one of the best care centers in the Inland Empire.
During your pregnancy journey, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is dedicated to supporting you and your partner every step of the way. We invite you to watch the virtual tour videos of our Women's Center, available below, or use the links to schedule a personal tour in person.
Through our partnership with BabyLiveAdvice, we offer maternal health education classes led by experienced midwives, nurses, and lactation consultants. These classes are free, live, and not pre-recorded, ensuring personalized interaction and support directly from the comfort of your home.

Addressing Women's Specific & Crucial Health Needs
At Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, we recognize the unique healthcare issues that women face. Our programs provide support and advanced care to each and every woman who comes through our doors. For example, since 2003 our award-winning Stead Heart & Vascular Center has had a program specifically geared toward women's cardiovascular health.
We are also the only Hospital in the area that has four 3D Mammography available to our patients for early detection of breast cancer. Our highly advanced breast imaging is the latest technology in the field, and we are one of the only Southern California medical centers to make it a standard part of our care.
Additionally, we have a treatment that is designed to help women and children with special or high-risk needs. Our entire staff, from our physicians to our nurses and technicians, is dedicated to providing our patients with the best obstetrical, pediatric, and cardiovascular treatment, among other areas of practice.
