Individual and family counseling is offered at The Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center to all cancer patients and their families.  Licensed therapists specially trained in the counseling of cancer patients provide unique and effective therapy and support.  This service integrates and coordinates with medical and radiation oncology treatment.

Our Goal:

To help patients and families cope with the emotions involved in being diagnosed and treated for cancer.

How Our Program is Different:

Psycho-oncology counseling specializes in the unique concerns of the cancer patient.  This includes patient decision-making, anxiety associated with waiting for test results, confirming a diagnosis, coping with shock, denial, fears, dread of recurrence, anxiety, and many other issues specific to the cancer patient and family.

Appointments for this service can be scheduled at the Cancer Care Center by calling (909) 865-9555 x 0.  Same day and special times may be arranged.  In order to make this service available, a minimal fee will be charged; however, grant funding is available and may be negotiated.
