Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center delivers more than 7,000 babies every year and offers the full continuum of preparation and care for parents-to-be, new moms and dads, and babies (including those with special needs). From Hospital tours, childbirth classes and perinatology expertise - to state-of-the-art delivery suites in case of unexpected complications, family-centered care and a modern NICU—to Mom & Baby Stroller Strides classes and postpartum Mommy N Me groups - Childbirth at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is everything you expect it to be.

Our delivery rooms are referred to as LDRs for Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms. Each room is equipped with a fetal monitor, birthing bed, television, call bell telephone,bathroom, shower and rocking chair.

Celebratory meals for new parents, special treats for siblings, and personalized nursing care ensure that your Childbirth experience will be a positive and memorable one, whether you are a first-time mother or experienced parent.

Our nursing staff is made up of highly skilled clinicians with experience in obstetric care. We also offer special services for high-risk mothers and infants, including a special antenatal testing area and a nationally recognized neonatal intensive care unit, providing the finest in specialized services for premature infants or those with other complications. When complications or special circumstances in pregnancy or at birth arise, the Women's Center has the on-site staff and facilities to help, including:

    Some conditions or complications may require a mother to be hospitalized prior to delivery so that her pregnancy can be closely monitored.
