Support Services

Women’s and Children’s Services at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) offers emotional support and guidance to women and their families through every stage of their lives.

Support for Bereaved Parents
  Walk to Remember
Each October during National Perinatal Bereavement Month Helping Hands invites families who have experienced the loss of an infant or child to participate in a "Walk to Remember”. The evening includes an inspirational program of sharing, a memorial service and a candlelight walk.

Memorial Wall and Garden
Those who lose and infant or child often feel the need to do something special in their memory. The Memorial Wall offers a way to give lasting tribute by having a child’s name permanently etched on one of the wall’s granite tiles. A garden, with colorful flowers and a fountain, provides a quiet spot for meditation.

Support for NICU parents
The Caring Connection welcomes support for new families with critically ill newborns, regardless of where their infant was born or is hospitalized.
