History of Success

Established in 1983 at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center as the first hospital-based sports medicine program in the region, the Sports Medicine Center has long been recognized as a leader in the education, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Through the Sports Medicine Center’s ongoing affiliation with Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and the January 2003 move into the Family Health Center, our patients now benefit from expanded medical expertise and immediate access to all hospital services and specialty areas.

Now, as the newest addition to the Family Health Center, the SMC is able to combine over 20 years of success with new team members and innovative programs …strengthening the SMC as a leader in the field of athletic injury diagnosis, treatment, and education for many years to come!
