The Auxiliary of Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, a non-profit organization established in 1937, is supported by and organized by the adult volunteers at PVHMC. The goal of the Auxiliary is three fold: to help worthy families who face staggering Hospital bills when their babies are in the NICU and other Hospital areas; to support the Hospital and all of its programs through volunteering; and to promote a positive image in the community. These goals are realized and supported through the Auxiliary’s Sick Baby and Hospital Assistance Funds.
The Sick Baby and Hospital Assistance Funds are used to assist in the payment of Hospital expenses at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for children whose parents are in need of such assistance. It also gives the Auxiliary the opportunity to fulfill requests from throughout the Hospital to provide equipment, educational supplies, and materials for Pediatrics, Perinatology, Medical Library, and the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit.
