Having a Healthy Baby Program

Having a Healthy Baby Program

Our "Having a Healthy Baby" program (Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program, or CPSP) is a special educational service offered at no cost to women with Medi-Cal benefits who are pregnant or who have recently delivered their babies. Women who take advantage of this program receive the information and education they need to make healthy choices for themselves and their babies. Our "Having a Healthy Baby" program provides the following services:

  • Nutritional counseling
  • Emotional support
  • Childbirth classes
  • Baby Care classes
  • Financial guidance
  • Community resource referrals
These are just some of the ways the program can help you have a healthy baby.  Our health care team works with your doctor to help give you the best prenatal care possible.
