Pharmacy Residency Program Features Diverse rotations including core experiences in: Internal medicine Adult Intensive Care Infectious Diseases Emergency Medicine Medication Safety Pharmacy operations Pharmacy administration (longitudinal) Ambulatory (longitudinal) Highly customized individual plan with numerous elective rotation options (selected from, but not limited to): Academia Hematology/Oncology Trauma Cardiovascular Intensive Care Neonatal Intensive Care/Pediatrics Informatics Family medicine Pharmacy management Residents may repeat select rotations in which they have a particular interest. Staffing occurs on a rotating basis and includes weekends. Each resident is expected to plan, design, and complete a major project with the guidance of a preceptor, in addition to a variety of smaller projects. Each resident is expected to attend the Western States Conference. Completion of a teaching certificate from an affiliated pharmacy school is required.
