Having a baby is a life-changing experience. At PVHMC, your health and well-being is our top priority. Keeping this in mind, we have designed a series of live virtual classes to be watched from the safety and comfort of your own home.

These classes are offered in a bundled group; therefore, you will receive all three classes, including the Childbirth Preparation (LAMAZE) class, Newborn Baby Express class, and Breastfeeding class. The bundle classes are offered on Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Childbirth Preparation: 6/14 at 6:30 PM

Baby Express: 6/21 at 6:30 PM

Breastfeeding: 6/28 at 6:30 PM

Childbirth Preparations Class: You will gain knowledge that will enhance your labor and birth experience. Such as:

• Role of your Support Person
• Comfort measures
• Pain Management
• Breathing and relaxation techniques

Newborn Baby Express: Taking care of a newborn can be a little overwhelming. In our course you will learn

• Diaper changes (the scoop on the poop)
• Why do babies cry
• Umbilical cord and circumcision care
• Tummy time/SIDS prevention

Breastfeeding: although breastfeeding is a natural, it is a learned skill by both mom and baby

• Dispel common breastfeeding myths
• Establish your milk flow
• How to know if your baby is getting enough to eat
• Feeding cues
