Recognize the Signs and Symptoms of a Stroke

A stroke is caused by the interruption of blood flow to the brain. This interruption results from either a blood clot blockage or a blood vessel's bursting. 85% of strokes are the result of a blocked blood vessel. Understanding the warning signs of stroke and knowing how to respond can save lives and minimize the impact of stroke-related disabilities.
