Fellowship Program for Experienced RNs
The Fellowship Program is a structured program designed to facilitate orientation and development for nurses who are interested in transitioning from one specialty to another. Participating Departments: Postpartum, Telemetry, ICU and ED. Participating departments vary by cycle.
- Individualized education and mentoring
- Clinical rotations within selected specialty/departments
- Patient Simulation experience through the use of technically-enhanced manikins
- Professional seminars and didactic education sessions that focus on current nursing modalities
- Two years of recent clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, as needed by department, must be completed before the program
- BSN or MSN strongly preferred
