Welcome to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center's Stroke Program, where we are dedicated to providing top-notch stroke care to our community and beyond. As a recognized Comprehensive Stroke Center, we meet the highest standards in stroke care, showing our commitment to excellence.
Our program is focused on quickly assessing, diagnosing, and treating strokes because we know how crucial timely intervention is. Strokes, whether from a blood clot or a burst blood vessel, need immediate attention to reduce damage and boost recovery. Our expert team uses advanced techniques like clot-dissolving medication and thrombectomy to restore blood flow fast and lessen the stroke's impact.
At Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, we follow the BE FAST protocol to help recognize stroke symptoms quickly and take immediate action. Signs like sudden balance loss and slurred speech must be addressed immediately. Quick recognition and treatment can save lives and improve recovery, reducing long-term disability.
We are proud of our excellent stroke care results, including minimal complications from procedures like Carotid Stenting and Endarterectomy. Our focus on evidence-based practices and patient safety is clear in our zero infection rates and excellent treatment outcomes. Acting FAST can save lives and prevent long-term disabilities.
