Safe Sitter® is a national nonprofit program designed to teach young people the skills they need to be safe and responsible babysitters.
Safe Sitter® is a two-day class specially designed for girls and boys aged 11 to 14 years. This two-day class has received national recognition by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The small class size and interactive learning environment include: role-playing, games, childcare, age-appropriate activities, and setting up a babysitting business. Students get hands-on practice in basic lifesaving techniques. Class includes a babysitting kit and workbook.
*Remember to bring a sweater and sack lunch.
