Shared Governance is a concept, developed by the principles of a partnership, accountability, equity and an ownership that forms an empowering framework. It is a dynamic process that creates lasting changes over time. Shared Governance promotes collaboration among clinical nurses and nursing leadership, and shared-decision making to help us improve the quality and safety of the care provided to our patients as well as enhancing our work life.
