​Dongning Zhang, MD, MPH, is a board-certified thoracic surgeon specializing
in lung and esophageal cancer, as well as complex foregut and anti-reflux
conditions. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of
California, Los Angeles, and received her medical degree and Master of
Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr.
Zhang completed an Integrated Thoracic Surgery Residency at the University
of Pittsburgh Medical Center, gaining advanced training in robotic lobectomy,
esophagectomy, hiatal hernia repair, mediastinal mass resection, and other
minimally invasive thoracic procedures.
