Pediatric Inpatient Care Unit
Our Pediatric Inpatient Care Unit is the only facility of its kind within
a 12-mile radius, offering specialized healthcare for children from birth
through adolescence.
Our Children’s Services
From routine care to specialized treatments, our pediatric services support
children’s health every step of the way.

Children’s Inpatient Specialties: Orthopedic surgery, pediatric cardiology, pediatric surgery, respiratory
care, neurosurgery, neurology, ophthalmology, urology, gastroenterology.
- Medical Transport Services: We provide quick access to specialized care
for everyone. Our transport services enable the fast transfer of pediatric
patients from nearby hospitals, giving families confidence that their
children will receive the best possible care.

Neonatal Transport Services: We provide safe and swift interventions for critically ill neonatal patients
who need care from a Level IIIB regional intensive care unit. Our dedicated
team is available 24 hours a day, ready to respond to transport requests
for acutely ill infants within 30 minutes of accepting the request.
- Pediatric Hospitalist Program: Enhance inpatient care through continuous,
coordinated treatment for our young patients.

High-Risk Infant Follow-Up & NICU Bridge Program: Ongoing monitoring of development from discharge
through early childhood.

Children’s Outpatient Center: Specializing in neurology, pulmonary, orthopedic, and cardiovascular care.

Milestones Centers, situated in Chino Hills and Claremont, focus solely on developmental
concerns and special needs for children from birth to adolescence. They
provide Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Therapy.

Child Life Program: Child Life Specialists are pediatric healthcare professionals with expertise
in child development and psychosocial care and support. Child Life Specialists
work alongside patients and their families, in both the inpatient and
outpatient settings.
Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP)
Our hospital is designated as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) by the County of Los Angeles Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency, meaning
children receive care in an environment specifically designed for their
needs. Staff are trained and nationally certified in pediatric emergency
medicine and advanced life support. Pediatric patients benefit from equipment
sized for children and care tailored to their developmental stage, ensuring
both safety and comfort in urgent situations.
