After leaving the hospital with your newborn, it’s normal to have questions about recovery, feeding, and infant care. Our postpartum telehealth visit offers a convenient, virtual check-in with a qualified provider to review your health, your baby’s progress, and address any concerns—all from the comfort of your home within one week of your discharge. After this initial visit, parents can receive additional telehealth visits as needed, up to one year after their child’s birth.

What’s Covered in Your Free Telehealth Visit

This secure video consultation, powered by BabyLiveAdvice, allows parents to receive guidance on a range of postpartum and newborn topics, including:

• Mental health support – Check in on emotional well-being and postpartum adjustment
• Diabetes education & support – Guidance for parents managing gestational or pre-existing diabetes
• Preparing for baby or raising your infant – Practical tips for the first weeks at home
• Breastfeeding and lactation support – Assistance with latching, milk supply, pumping, and feeding concerns
• Post-birth recovery – Caring for a C-section incision or vaginal recovery, general health, and self-care
• Newborn care – Baby jaundice, preemie care, cord care, circumcision care

This visit is billed to your insurance, with the hospital covering the remainder, so parents pay nothing out-of-pocket.

How to Schedule Your Postpartum Telehealth Visit
