Breastfeeding Support During Your Hospital Stay

Breastfeeding is an important part of your pregnancy and postpartum journey, and new parents often need hands-on guidance in the first hours and days after birth. Our team provides private bedside consults from certified lactation consultants to help you feel confident before heading home.

During your hospital stay, you can receive support with:

Helping your baby latch comfortably
Understanding milk supply and what’s normal
Making sure your baby is feeding effectively
Managing soreness or early breastfeeding challenges
Using a breast pump and getting familiar with the equipment

If you need additional help before discharge, a lactation consultant can meet with you one-on-one to answer questions, observe a feeding and provide personalized recommendations.

We also offer breast pump rentals on-site for families who need one before going home.

Lactation Center Appointments

For parents who want more support after delivery, our Lactation Center offers weekday appointments. Families can receive in-person guidance, reassurance, and help with troubleshooting common feeding concerns. All mothers in the community are welcome.
