PVHMC Joins the Pink Patch Project

pink ribbonOur Security Department is proud to announce its first official year participating in the Pink Patch Project (PPP)! The PPP is an innovative public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. The goals of the PPP are to:

  • Raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and treatment
  • Raise funds for cancer research, treatment and education through the sale of commemorative pink patches and other items that the Pomona Police Department will have available

As part of this project, a unique inaugural 2018 PVHMC pink patch will be available for purchase and all proceeds will be presented to our Breast Cancer Fund through the Foundation. The City of Pomona Police Department also participates in this project and will be out in the city raising funds that will also go to our Foundation's Breast Cancer Fund!
