Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Youth Ages 6 Months – 4 Years

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) will offer free Pfizer BioNTech vaccines at a Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for children ages 6 months – 4 years, only, on Saturday, July 9, from 8 am – 12 pm, at its Robert and Beverly Lewis Outpatient Pavilion on the main hospital campus.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have expanded emergency use authorization of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines in children ages 6 months – 4 years. Vaccinating children against COVID-19 helps to protect them from contracting and spreading the virus to others, and reduces their own risk of severe illness and hospitalization.

The Pfizer BioNTech vaccine is a three-dose series, as recommended by the CDC. Upon registration, patients will receive information on the date and location of the vaccination clinics for the second and third doses of the vaccine. Children must have a parent or legal guardian present at the time of vaccination.

Due to limited availability of this dosage of the vaccine, walk-ins will be accepted, however, appointments are recommended. To pre-register, please contact Leigh Cornell, FACHE, Vice President of Administration, at 909.630.7785 or leigh.cornell@pvhmc.org.
