Catheterization (Cath) Lab
Your cardiologist’s office will schedule your Cath Lab appointment with you. You will receive a call from our Pre-Admitting Services team 2-3 business days before your appointment to review pre-registration information and to provide instructions to prepare for your procedure.
Children’s Outpatient Center
The Children’s Outpatient Center provides comprehensive outpatient specialty services for infants, children and adolescents from birth to age 17. Making an appointment with one of our specialists begins with a referral, either from your primary care provider, pediatrician or another specialist. GI Lab – Gastrointestinal Services
Your gastroenterologist’s office will schedule your GI Lab appointment with you and provide any necessary preparation instructions for your procedure. A member of our GI Lab staff may contact you a few days before your appointment to review your patient information and provide any additional information necessary.

Outpatient Laboratory Services
Outpatient laboratory services are offered on the first floor of the Robert & Beverly Lewis Outpatient Pavilion. To schedule an appointment, call 909.469.9395.

Sports Medicine Center: Free sports injury screenings for athletes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00 pm at the Sports Medicine Center in the Robert & Beverly Lewis Outpatient Pavilion. Appointments are required. Call 909.865.9810 to schedule.
The Robert & Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center
Appointment scheduling for medical oncology and radiation oncology is by physician referral, only.

Sleep Disorders Center
Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center's Adult and Children's Sleep Disorders Center is located at the Pomona Valley Health Center in Claremont. For information on appointments and referrals, call 909.865.9152.
Surgical Services – Inpatient and Outpatient
Your surgeon’s office will schedule your surgical appointment with you.
If your physician has ordered testing (chest x-ray, labs, EKG, etc.) to be completed before your procedure, our Pre-Admit Testing unit will call you to schedule an appointment.
If your surgeon does NOT order pre-operative testing, our Surgical Services Department will call you approximately one day before your procedure to:
- Review your medications
- Provide specific instructions when to stop eating and drinking
- Confirm the time and location of your procedure. It will either be in our Main Hospital or the Robert & Beverly Lewis Outpatient Pavilion.
You may also receive a call from our Pre-Services Department to verify your insurance coverage and any out-of-pocket responsibility that will be due on the date of service.

Women’s Center / Maternity Services
Sweet Success
The Sweet Success Program at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has been a California Diabetes and Pregnancy Program affiliate for more than 20 years. To get a referral to our Sweet Success program, patients must obtain a referral from their obstetrician. Your obstetrician would then refer you to our Perinatal Center.
