This state-of-the-art facility is specifically designed to provide specialized pediatric healthcare services, ensuring that families in the Inland Empire and beyond have exclusive access to comprehensive care close to home.

Unique Features of Our Pediatric Inpatient Care Unit:

• 15-Bed Facility with Advanced Design: Our secure unit includes nine fully private rooms and three semi-private rooms, designed to comfortably accommodate sibling admissions. Each room is crafted to support a healing environment and is equipped with windows offering outdoor views and natural light, as well as colored LED strips for enhanced nighttime visibility and comfort for children.

New and Enhanced Services:

• Medical Transport Services: We ensure rapid access to our specialized care by facilitating the timely transfer of pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals.
• Pediatric Hospitalist Program: Enhance inpatient care through continuous, coordinated treatment for our young patients.
• Pediatric Telemedicine: Offers consultations with pediatric sub-specialists to ensure comprehensive care regardless of patient location.
• Partnership with Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC): CHOC has partnered with PVHMC to enhance pediatric specialty care in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. This collaboration provides outpatient specialty services at PVHMC’s Children’s Outpatient Center and inpatient services at the hospital. CHOC’s specialties at this location include cardiology, the NICU High-Risk Infant and Bridge Program, pulmonary and general surgery, which are aimed at delivering comprehensive care for children in these regions.

• Perinatal Center: Specializing in high-risk pregnancies.
• Maternal-Fetal Transport Team: Providing safe and rapid transport for critical care needs.
• 53-bed Level IIIb Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU): Offering top-tier neonatal care with a dedicated transport team.
• High-Risk Infant Follow-up Clinic: Experienced physicians and nurses monitor your child’s development from the time he or she goes home from the NICU until their third birthday. Team members provide testing and evaluations that measure your child’s progress toward developmental milestones. If any concerns are identified, we will recommend that your child be referred to a special doctor or service.
• Children’s Outpatient Center: Specializing in neurology, pulmonary, orthopedic, and cardiovascular care.
• Milestones Centers for Child Development: Located in Chino Hills and Claremont, our Milestones Centers for Child Development are dedicated exclusively to the developmental concerns and special needs of children from birth through adolescence. Our Milestones clinics offer Pediatric Occupational therapy, Physical Therapy, and speech-language therapy.
• Designated Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP): Equipped to handle pediatric emergencies with specially trained staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
