Should a problem arise at birth, your baby can be quickly transported to expert, multidisciplinary medical care at our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Part of Children's Services (a Center of Excellence at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center), our NICU is staffed with caring, credentialed physician specialists, highly trained nurses and dedicated staff.
The PVHMC Neonatal Transport Team is ready, willing, and able 24/7 to attend to referring facilities for a high-risk delivery when moms cannot be transported to PVHMC. Our expertly trained professionals work side-by-side with your medical team to provide the best possible care for every mom and baby.

Since 1994, the Neonatal Transport Service (NTS) at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has been committed to providing safe and rapid intervention for sick neonatal patients who require care from a level IIIB regional intensive care unit.
With a dedicated team on staff 24 hours a day, we’re prepared to respond to a request for transport of an acutely ill infant within 30 minutes from the time the transport is accepted.
For facilities that make us their preferred transport service, we conduct thorough education outreach to ensure proper safety processes are followed.
