College/Post-Bacc Students

The College Volunteer Program at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is designed to provide students pursuing a medically related career in college with an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a hospital environment. College Volunteers provide assistance to clinical and ancillary departments and to our patients and their families. The College Volunteer Program is not meant for the purpose of job/career training, nor is it meant to lead to paid employment at PVHMC.

Who is Eligible

Individuals currently enrolled or considering enrolling in a university or professional program, or in post-graduate studies program may apply. All applicants must be 18 years or older. We have reached the maximum number of College Volunteer application requests at this time. The application link will be posted to this page on October 1st. Not all applicants will be accepted.


If accepted as a College Volunteer, you will be assigned to at least one four-hour shift once per week (max 3 shifts per week) and must commit to complete a minimum of 200 hours of service.
