SMC Team Physicians

The SMC is proud to provide team doctors to five local high schools. These physicians work closely with each school's coaching staff and athletic trainer to provide pre-participation physicals before the season begins and to provide event coverage and support during the season.

“$$$ for Physicals” Fundraiser Program

Each year, the SMC organizes and provides group pre-participation exams for five local high schools through the "$$$ for Physicals" fundraiser program. The SMC physicians donate their time, giving 100% of the proceeds earned from the physicals back to the school's athletic department. Athletes who clear the exam meet the yearly CIF requirement to participate in school sports. Started in 2006, the Sports Medicine Center's "$$$ For Physicals" program has donated over $200,000 for our local schools.
