Will my sports injury screening include a free X-ray?

Not all sports injuries require an X-ray. Our SMC Physician will make the determination as to whether or not an X-ray is necessary. If needed for your particular injury, the X-ray will be free. Please note this offer is only available at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center during SMC Physician Clinic on Monday evenings.

Are the free injury screenings at the SMC available to all athletes, young and old?

Yes. All athletes, regardless of age or skill level, can receive a free screening for a sports related injury.

How much does a pre-season physical cost?

Pre-participation exams performed at the SMC cost $31.00.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear loose fitting clothing and athletic shoes.

Can I bring my coach or trainer with me?

Yes, coaches and trainers are welcome to accompany injured athletes.
