Rehabilitation Services

Our Commitment to Patient Health and Safety

“I felt very safe and had peace of mind during my appointment. It’s great that both patients and staff get their temperatures taken, and I like receiving a new mask every time I come in. I’ve never had staff like them before - they keep their patients happy!”

-Patricia Purlee, Rehabilitation Services Patient

On Monday, May 11, 2020, Rehabilitation Services began a gradual reopening allowing us to see more patients, many of whom have deferred their treatments for several weeks. Protecting the health and safety of our patients has never been more important to us. With that in mind, we’re offering patients several treatment options, depending on the patient’s condition, their available technologies and their personal preference. The following are now available at all our locations:

  • Telephone sessions to answer your questions, discuss any concerns and offer advice
  • Telehealth (audio and video chat) sessions using a computer, tablet or smart phone from home to connect visually with a therapist who can reassess and guide patients through specific exercises
  • Traditional in-clinic treatment sessions with a therapist

As we begin to reopen our clinics, we are taking extra steps to ensure our facility is safe. We are adhering to the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health. These are the safety and quality measures we have in place:

Patient and Visitor Safety Measures

  • All patients answer COVID-19 screening questions when making their appointments.
  • All patients receive a temperature check and are asked COVID-19 screening questions before entering our facilities.
  • All patients, and any (1) caregiver involved in the treatment, will be given a hospital grade isolation mask at each visit and this must be worn at all times. Cloth masks are not allowed in clinical areas.
  • Visitors not involved in the clinical or home care of the patient are not permitted in clinical treatment areas and, therefore, can wear their own personal masks and remain in a socially distanced waiting area.
  • Hand washing or sanitizing is required before and after treatment.
  • Social distancing of at least 6 feet from others is maintained at all times.

Associate & Clinic Safety Measures

  • All staff take and report their temperature, and are asked the same COVID-19 screening questions as our patients at the start of every shift.
  • All staff are required to wear a hospital grade isolation mask at all times.
  • All staff diligently performs hand washing throughout the day.
  • Equipment used by patients is thoroughly disinfected following each use.
  • Additional cleaning and disinfection are performed on high-touch surfaces each evening and throughout the day.
  • The number of appointments is being strictly controlled to ensure we maintain social distancing throughout our clinics.

Thank you for placing your trust and confidence in us!
We look forward to getting you back to doing what you love – quickly and safely.
